A great start to the Summer
Apologies for the lack of posts over the last couple of months. The CCC team have had a very busy start to the Summer season of catering.
May was an awesome month which included our busiest week of the year (so far) with 19 back-to-back events from Saturday to the following Sunday. A total of around 1250 guests catered for. A huge well done to everyone that made it happen.
June included some great private parties and celebrations: an engagement; a festival themed 40th; a large charity ball and… of course… more weddings. Plus, we had the added excitement of catering for several of our Newmarket-based clients down at Royal Ascot.
July included the wonderful July Sales at Tattersalls in Newmarket. One of the many bloodstock auction sales held throughout the year. CCC are principal caterers to Tattersalls and operate the two main restaurants on the complex: the Buffet Room and the Tattersalls Restaurant. It is always a pleasure to cater at Tattersalls. It’s such a unique and prestigious venue and the grounds looked amazing for their July Sales, a huge credit to the hardworking gardeners and paddock staff. The July Week in Newmarket is a great week for the town with the Moet et Chandon Festival at the July Racecourse. Many of our clients host parties for their owners visiting the Sales and the races and we had the pleasure of catering for two large events at Newsalls Stud, including a fundraising evening for the National Horseracing Museum
Looking ahead to August…. we have a full diary of bookings with weddings at Chippenham Park, Tattersalls, Smeetham Hall Barn, the Granary Barns plus several large private marquee weddings, working with our friends at Highfield and Cambridge Marquees
It’s a our busiest time of year with long days of early starts and late finishes but we do what we love; and love what we do. There’s no a better feeling than knowing you have played a part in making someone’s dream a reality.
